Owners and sisters, Neha Negandhi and Monika Shah originally encountered "sip and paint" businesses in other cities and decided to bring their own twist to that concept to Charlotte, their hometown. Having grown up in the Queen City, we couldn't wait to share this fun sip and paint concept by opening our own business and providing fellow Charlotteans a wonderful creative outlet. The Wine Palette is where we poured our creativity and lots of wine and our hope is that you will do the same too.
Neha is a proud alumnus from South Mecklenburg High School and Appalachian State University. She has the cutest little boy ever (as only an objective mommy can say) and a wonderful husband. Her career for over ten years has been in Marketing and Event Management and she even owned an event planning company in Seattle. She has lived in Atlanta and Seattle and is now a stay-at-home mom after the birth of her son.
Monika is a proud Charlottean. She graduated from South Mecklenburg High School and received a B.A. in Psychology from UNCC. Her career started in the food and service industry where she learned that customer service is an art form in itself. She later joined the Charlotte trend of bankers and worked for Wachovia (a Wells Fargo Company) for 5 years. Wanting to see more of the world, she diverted from her corporate path, left her hometown and went to Alaska. While exploring "The Last Frontier," she worked on the Princess-Holland America tour train, and had the time of her life. She returned home last year with an itch to explore her more creative side while remaining close to her friends and family. So this is where her new story will begin.
